<p>I&#8217;m one of those people who produces a lot of work that average folks usually aren&#8217;t aware of. If you&#8217;ve visited almost any hospital (and many medical buildings) in the Sacramento area, you&#8217;ve seen my work.</p>
<p>My sign designs help people navigate parking lots, find the ER, manage patient care, stay safe in the pandemic, and feel more relaxed in patient and family spaces. I&#8217;ve designed thousands of signs since 2017 that have made a difference in my community.</div>

<p style="margin-bottom:30px;" class="portfolio">A hobby winemaker, the owner of SonShine Wines asked me to design a wine label that incorporated a brilliant sunrise over the foothills of Northern California, grapes and vines, and a rugged cross. Since 2016 I&#8217;ve produced several different versions of the label for Moscato, Syrah, Zinfandel, and other varietals.</p></div>

<a href="http://www.rocklinautomotive.com/" target="blank" rel="noopener">Rocklin Automotive</a>&#8216;s gokart racing team wanted a t-shirt design for the team members, so I created this fun image featuring the star driver, Adam. I kept the design to two colors to reduce printing costs.

<p>Portland State University&#8217;s Resource Center for Students with Children wanted an illustration that would be displayed as a large decal on the front windows of their new building. I worked closely with the center&#8217;s staff to create a design that would represent the children who visit the facility.</p>
<p><strong>Eight-foot-wide banner</strong> (below)<br />
Portland State University&#8217;s Resource Center for Students with Children requested an eight-foot-wide banner advertising their services to students with families. Their vision included a tree with keywords, so I turned those words into unique leaf shapes and designed the tree so it would balance out the &#8220;weight&#8221; of the left side of the banner.</div>

The Resource Center for Students with Children asked me to create a fun and engaging full color, full bleed brochure to replace a black-and-white version. I worked with them to incorporate the university&#8217;s branding and color scheme but with a twist that would make this brochure less &#8220;corporate&#8221; looking. This piece defined the look of the center&#8217;s follow-up marketing materials, including a large banner and a tabletop display.</div>

Portland State University offers lactation rooms for breastfeeding moms throughout its campus, so I created this full-color brochure with an easy-to-read map displaying the lactation room locations. The map was originally created by another designer at the university, but I incorporated usability features and simplified the design to make it easier to follow. A real student and her newborn are featured on the front.</div>

SJ Construction asked me to design them a new logo that would be versatile for business cards, signage, and embroidered shirts. The logo needed to incorporate an eagle similar to one they&#8217;d used previously. I also designed their business cards and worked closely with the printer to make sure the blue in the logo matched the blue on the American flag.</p></div>

<p style="margin-bottom:30px;" class="portfolio"><a href="http://www.ricevoice.com" target="blank" rel="noopener">Voiceover artist Chris Rice</a> asked me to redesign his site using electric blue as the theme color. Using WordPress, HTML, CSS, and PHP, I made the site responsive &#8211; meaning it&#8217;s optimized to look good on virtually any mobile device. I customized almost everything, from the typewriter-like font to the audio player to the testimonials slider at the bottom. I also designed business cards that match the blue badge logo at the top of the page.

<p>Brandy Rayburn of <a href="http://www.thequiltingplace.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Quilting Place</a> asked me to create a new logo to go with the new website I built for her. She wanted something fresh and fun to reflect her personality, so we worked together and came up with this design.</div>
